Candid Tutors is a tutor-led online Maths service built around clear explanation, individual attention and honest conversations about what a student needs.
A personal approach, designed to grow
For now, tuition is delivered personally by one tutor, with a limited number of student places. That makes fit and scheduling important: every enquiry starts with a conversation rather than an automatic promise of availability.
The wider Candid Tutors platform is being built to publish genuinely useful GCSE Maths guidance and, in time, may help suitable families connect with trusted tutors or tuition organisations when personal capacity is full.
Teaching approach
Lessons favour patient, step-by-step explanation, active questioning and practice that reveals whether an idea is understood. Foundation and Higher students can receive support, as can learners approaching a GCSE Maths resit.
Meet Hassan Abbas
Hassan is a qualified Maths teacher with a PGCE and a degree in Physics. He has been teaching since 2018, helping students turn uncertainty into clear understanding through calm explanations, purposeful practice and lessons shaped around the individual. His approach combines strong subject knowledge with practical classroom experience, supporting GCSE students to build confidence, strengthen their foundations and approach exams with a clear plan.
