Enquire about a group

How it works

A group that makes sense educationally

Step 1

Send an enquiry

Tell us the student’s year, tier, current level and useful lesson times.

Step 2

Form a suitable group

Join with a friend or enquire individually to be considered for a compatible group.

Step 3

Learn together online

Lessons combine explanation, questions and guided GCSE Maths practice.

Who group tuition is for

Group lessons are intended for GCSE Maths students who would benefit from structured teaching at a lower cost than one-to-one tuition. Groups may focus on Foundation, Higher, exam preparation, resits or a shared topic.

Students should be close enough in level and goals for the lesson to remain useful to everyone. An enquiry starts a conversation about compatibility and availability; it does not guarantee that a group can be formed immediately.

Already have two or more students?

Friends, classmates or siblings can enquire together. Include each student’s year, tier and current position so the proposed group can be assessed fairly.

What students receive

  • Live online teaching from a qualified Maths teacher
  • Clear explanations followed by guided practice
  • Support for Foundation, Higher or GCSE Maths resits
  • A small-group environment where students can ask questions
  • Lessons planned around the group’s shared priorities

Group tuition enquiry

Submitting an enquiry does not reserve a place. Groups need at least two students and are confirmed only when the students’ level, goals and availability are a suitable match. See the privacy notice.

Group tuition questions

How much does group tuition cost?

Group tuition costs £10 per student per lesson. A group must contain at least two students.

Do students need to form their own group?

Students can enquire as an existing group or individually. Individual students may be matched with others when their level, goals and availability are suitable, but a group place cannot be guaranteed.

Are group lessons online?

Yes. Group lessons take place online using Zoom, Microsoft Teams or another agreed platform.

Can Foundation and Higher students join the same group?

Groups are arranged around compatible levels and goals. Foundation and Higher students would normally be placed separately where their learning needs differ.
